In order to be selected in a company name field, a company such as customer, vendor, shipper, consignee, etc has to exist in the CMS, which is the one of the main databases of ISIS.

If you know the company number, type it in the respective field, otherwise, go to the name field. As the user starts typing letters in this field, the program starts automatically searching in the database for the closest name to the typed letters. You can use the <Pg Up> and <PgDn> keys to scroll through the database. The location will also appear as you scroll up and down.

 

This component has several features, which can be displayed by using the right button of the mouse, to help the user remember names through a keyword search, view a company history, view a CMS audit or CMS notes.  It also has the connection with the customer card or vendor card, depending on the company you are working with. It also has the Append (adds information to the current name and address) and Replace option (whatever you type in this field, will replace the CMS information), which are used in Bills of Lading for printing purposes. To view any of these options, right click on the mouse, in the field that corresponds to the company name and select the desired one.

After the name is selected in any of the documents it will display the status of the credit and the Cms notes if they are applied.
