Credit Limit

The credit limit is an amount that can be predefined for a specific customer. This amount is recalculated and updated every time that an invoice gets generated and also every time that an invoice is paid. Based on this, a flag will or will not appear in all documents, such as Bookings, TIR’s, Dock Receipts, Bills of lading and invoices. The purpose of this flag is to let the user know the credit status of that specific customer and depending on it, the user may have to contact the accounting department for further information to make sure if it is OK to continue with the procedure to ship the cargo. It is assigned in the customer card or vendor card
