Dock Receipt Express

The Dock Receipt Express is a document that enables users to receive the cargo in the warehouses in a very quick way. It does not require specific information, only what is necessary to print a label and put it on the cargo.  Later on, the user can create the dock receipt with all details, using the dock receipt express as the base document. The D/R express looks as follows

  1. The first section corresponds to the warehouse or the container yard number and name (if the loose cargo is received at the same yard) and the receipt number, the date and the time that the receipt is created. It also shows the booking number , which may be left blank if the user does not have any at that moment. It has a field to assign global packages with no detail
  2. The second section corresponds to the ports and  trucking company name
  3. The third section contains the information about Shipper, and   Consignee. One of them is required
  4. The last section corresponds to Comments, documents and references

There is a button that is called Create D/R, which will create the actual dock receipt, based on the express information that was captured. Once this button is selected, the dock receipt entry screen opens with the information captured in the express document. The rest needs to be entered at this point with more detail. The express document disappears from the list, which is a way to review the documents that are pending to create
